CO2 Capture by Reduced Graphene Oxide Monoliths with Incorporated CeO2 Grafted with Functionalized Polymer Brushes

The monolithic materials of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) can be used successfully in CO2 adsorption. Here, the incorporation CeO2 particles with and without polymer brushes grafted from showed that structural properties could changed, affecting adsorption CO2. Polymer (1) poly(acrylic acid) (PAA), (2) poly(vinyl caprolactam) (PVCL) (3) poly[(2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl) trimethylammonium chloride] (PMETAC) were via reversible addition?fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization. preparation monoliths rGO different modified led to thermal (TGA), changes (BET isotherms) responsive character CeO2@polymer was proven by DLS UV results. incorporated into monolith affected not only capacity but also microstructure values surface volume pores monolith. Monoliths porosity for better polymer.
